St.JOSEPH’S Matriculation Higher Secondary School managed by St.JOSEPH’S Educational Trust, was started in June 1985 and was upgraded as Higher Secondary School in the year 1988. It is a co-educational English medium School. The motto of the school is “LEAD KINDLY LIGHT”. The aim of the motto is to make the boys and girls “CHILDREN OF LIGHT”, so that they may shine in this present world and also enlighten others. We train boys and girls in initiative and original thinking to develop character and personalities and to from correct social habits. Strict discipline is maintained. We have limited number on roll for individual attention. Only qualified and experienced teaching staff to tutor the students.

- To encourage the achievements in education, the Management has awarded cash prizes to outstanding students.
- The school management gives fee concession to students who secure more than 85% in school examination.
- Free Education, uniform and books for any student from Std. VI to XII who scores more than 90%. It is applicable for new admission who produce proper proof.

One best book is equal to hundred good friends. School library provides with 7000 varieties of books for students & general. Every effort is being made by management to cater the students with trending technology for all subjects, includes PSD explanation, Digi- SEL etc.

The progress of the students is tested periodically and reports are sent regularly to the parents every day through School Diary and SMS. This unique concept is followed.
STAR OF THE MONTH
In recognition of thier improvements, we give students merit badges and a chart is displayed in every class showing the improvement of the student with star symbol and at end of the month the total no. of stars are counted and that student is recognized as the “STAR OF THE MONTH” and is awarded with a merit certificate and a gift as a token of appreciation. No child is useless, they are used less. Talent Search Periods are conducted every week to identify students’ special interest. Eight students of X standard got centum in Maths from the batch of 2014-15 and 11 in Science and 12 in Social science. The numbers are increasing from there on.
Our academic performance in the Public Examination has been consistently Excellent. In X Std, 2014 -15 batch 8 students 100/100 in Mathematics and 11 students got100/100 in Science & 12 students in Social Science.All our Higher Secondary Science Students have joined in reputed colleges Of Engineering and Medicine Nationally & Internationally. Our Commerce Students Have joined in Law & Accounting.
We have insured all the students, their parents, all the members of the staff and their family. About 7 years back we have lost a father in an accident. His daughter completed her schooling till XII Std. with that insurance money. Now unfortunately we lost a student by name Siranjeevi. His insurance amount has been spent for educating his sister Sri Bhavani from std XI.
Introduced highly sophisticated CCTV camera in all Classes, corridors, lab etc., costing 4 lakhs. Now the government has announced that all schools must have cameras.
ACHEIVEMENTS IN SPORTS
Students have glorious achievements in State level athletics and they are going to divisional level in Football & Cricket. We are very proud to say that Syed Aijaz Ali Khan of Std. XI is continuously representing TamilNadu State for 800 mts and 1500 mts for the past two years, and last year he has represented the national Level also. And also he is representing for the forthcoming Common Wealth sports meet.
